The Parramatta River Catchment Group helps keep the Parramatta River clean. What they needed was a new purpose and mission to engage their council members, mayors, councillors and communities. This project worked with them to redefine their mission to a Big Hairy Audacious Goal: Make the Parramatta River swimmable again by 2025

By using swimming as a tangible benefit of a clean river, we invited residents to vote on where they could swim now and where they would like to see new swimming areas in the future.
Masterplan
We turned this master plan into an easy-to-understand brochure so that residents and stakeholders found it a no-brainer to support.
Public Engagement
To engage the public and garner support, a series of public events helped show that this audacious goal was possible.
